Our Mission
Taekwon Do Collaborative (formerly known as TaeKwon-Do International) is an association of professional Taekwon Do schools that are united under the leadership of Grandmaster Suk Jun Kim, 9th Dan, first generation student of General Choi Hong Hi and pioneer of Original and Traditional Taekwon Do.
Taekwon Do Collaborative (TKDC) is an association of professional Taekwon Do schools united under the leadership of Grandmaster Suk Jun Kim, 9th Dan, a first-generation student of General Choi, Hong Hi, and a pioneer of Original and Traditional Taekwon Do.
TKDC member schools are dedicated to furthering the growth of original and traditional Taekwon Do through high standards of technical ability, comprehensive curricula, and professional and ethical conduct for the mutual benefit of all members. Demonstrating the original tenets of traditional Taekwon Do --- Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit --- in all areas of business and practice, sets TKDC member schools apart.
TKDC Master Instructors are not only accomplished professional instructors, but also distinguished by their rigorous educational and professional backgrounds in a variety of disciplines including but not limited to law, medicine, finance, architecture, engineering, and the performing arts. Their martial arts practice serves as a framework for successful habits. Consequently, member schools are set apart by uncommonly high standards of professionalism in their business practices, technical ability, and personal conduct among their students.
TKDC seeks to expand membership to professional, educated, and like-minded school owners and practitioners who wish to join the thousands of martial artists already benefiting through their membership in TKDC.
